Certified riding instructor and trail-riding leader: Klaudia Webhofer, who has been in charge of the Winklerhotels’ entire riding facility. With a good feel for people and animals, she and her expert team of riding instructors will help you with all your horse-riding needs.

Important information:
Beginners start off with long lining lessons. They build their confidence with the horse and learn how to sit, move when trotting, and use the reins on our riding ground. Advanced riders practise the art of giving subtle signals, learn more about different breeds of horses, and enjoy the stunning nature of Val Pusteria/Pustertal during rides. Horseback rides are available from April to mid-November. Due to icy riding paths, horseback rides are not possible in winter.
Holiday highlights for kids and teens: our riding camps
Five unforgettable days full of learning, fun, and sparkling eyes. A thrilling mix of basic knowledge about horses, insights into different riding styles, and seat training and correction. Horse fans big and small adore our riding camp which takes place in spring and in autum. It lets children and teens from 6 to 16 years old spend a varied holiday at the Winklerhotels alongside our gentle companions. Our riding instructors support them in their first riding experiences, but also offer their expertise to seasoned riders.
Adult Riding Week
A special opportunity for passionate riders: a full week of training in spring, guided by well-known guest riding instructors. Individual riding and jumping lessons on well-trained school horses for all levels, suitable for beginners as well as advanced riders. An intensive programme: a unique opportunity to refine your skills in jumping or dressage and enhance your connection with the horse.
