Arrival by train

Coming from the north via the Brenner pass, take the train southwards to Franzensfeste. Coming from the south via Verona, take the train northwards to Franzensfeste. In Franzensfeste, change to a train towards Val Pusteria/Pustertal and get off in Ehrenburg, St. Lorenzen, or Bruneck. We’ll be happy to pick you up from the train station in our hotel shuttle free of charge. Please let us know your planned time of arrival at least 7 days in advance.

Special: If you’re travelling via Germany, Deutsche Bahn’s Europe special lets you travel in comfort and without traffic jams from anywhere in Germany from €39.00. Accompanied children up to 15 years old travel free of charge – they just need to be included on the ticket of their (grand)parents.

Arrival by car

Coming from the north via the Brenner pass, take the A22 motorway southwards. Coming from the south via Bolzano, take the A22 northwards. In both cases, leave the motorway at the Brixen/Val Pusteria/Pustertal exit, drive into Val Pusteria/Pustertal towards Bruneck/Toblach/Innichen, and after around 30 kilometres you’ll reach the village of St. Lorenzen just before Bruneck.

Turn right towards Val Badia/Gadertal – Corvara and drive about 2 kilometres into Val Badia/Gadertal. Turn right and take the junction to Montal, passing the local church. Hotel Lanerhof is on the left-hand side, just a few metres away from Chalet Purmontes.

Hotel Winkler

Turn off the eastern road into St. Lorenzen at the market hall, then follow the signs for Stefansdorf and Plan de Corones/Kronplatz. Drive under the railway underpass and then left, continuing upwards towards Stefansdorf for around 1 kilometre. You’ll find Hotel Winkler on the right-hand side, opposite the fire station.

Hotel Sonnenhof

Continue towards Bruneck. After around 2 kilometres, at the roundabout, take the third exit towards Pfalzen, which you’ll reach after around 5 kilometres. Drive until you reach the end of the village and then take the last entrance on the right-hand side to reach Hotel Sonnenhof.
